Academic Faculty
Our training will be delivered by properly qualified lecturers and instructors who have the qualifications as specified in MSN 03/2022 issued by the Director General of Merchant Shipping, Merchant Shipping Secretariat, Sri Lanka.
Eligibility
Shall hold a Certificate of Competency as Chief mate on Ships of 500 GT or more,
Shall have approved seagoing service of not less than 24 months as an officer in charge of a navigational watch, while holding the Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate. However, this period may be reduced to not less than 12 months, or pro-rata, if such seagoing services has been served as a Chief Mate on Ships of 500 GT or More.
