Navy Cadet Interaction Programme – 2026 Held at SMTI

The Southern Maritime Training Institute (SMTI) was honoured to host the Navy Cadet Interaction Programme – 2026 at its campus on 17 July 2026, providing an engaging platform for cadets to gain valuable insights into the maritime industry and experience modern maritime training technologies.

As part of the programme, the participants were introduced to SMTI’s state-of-the-art training facilities, gaining practical exposure to a range of advanced maritime simulators and training systems. The programme included demonstrations and hands-on learning experiences involving the Full Mission Navigation Bridge Simulator, Engineering Simulator, ECDIS, GMDSS, and High Voltage Simulator.

The interaction provided cadets with an opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications while gaining a deeper understanding of the skills, technologies, and operational practices essential to the modern maritime industry.

The programme also served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, professional interaction, and strengthening connections within the maritime community.
