Conducted by the Southern Maritime Training Institute (SMTI) on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DFAR), this 3-day Skipper Refresher Program is designed for existing license holders seeking to renew their Skipper’s License. The program offers an intensive refresher on key theoretical and practical components. It ensures participants are up to date with current regulations and operational standards. Upon successful completion, participants are eligible to apply for license renewal through DFAR.
