On 30th July 2026, Southern Maritime Training Institute proudly held the Inauguration Ceremony of Engineering Officer Cadet Batch 04, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our newest group of future marine engineers.

The ceremony was a proud and memorable occasion for our management, faculty, cadets, and their families as we officially welcomed these dedicated young individuals into the SMTI community.

As they begin their journey of academic learning, professional training, discipline, and personal development, we look forward to guiding them towards becoming competent and responsible maritime professionals ready to serve the global shipping industry.
